Are the courses accredited by a professional body?
The courses have previously been approved and accredited with the CPD standards office, however we have not continued our membership. The British International Freight Association (BIFA) have been known to recommend our courses but there is no official standard for this industry.
How long does the training last?
Most of our content can be read in between 30 and 45 minutes, followed by a test. Courses are designed as short fragments of industry knowledge that can be done during the working day, at lunchtime or at home.
Can i rate the courses?
Yes, every course has a survey for the trainee to feedback a rating between 1 to 5 stars.
Do i need sound?
Ideally yes. There is no sound needed for our content but we do often link to youtube videos which may need sound. Sometimes the sound is needed for the video, although the videos are generally support clips that are not essential and you can skip.
What browsers does this support?
Internet Explorer, Safari, Google Chrome and Firefox are fully supported but it is important to ensure you have the latest version to avoid performance issues.
Am I able to access on a mobile or tablet?
Yes, Desktops, Laptops, Mobiles, Tablets and other devices can be used as long as you have internet access and a supported browser.
How do I view my courses?
Navigate to ‘your courses’ , sign in and any courses allocated should be seen.
Can i access offline?
No. Unfortunately this only works with internet access.
Tests & Certificates
Does the training include a test?
Yes, each course has a multiple choice test at the end.
What is the pass rate?
To pass the course you will need to get a minimum of 70% of the questions correct.
If i fail do i take the course again?
Not immediately, you will be allowed to retake the test first.
Is there a time limit on tests?
Yes, most tests will allow 5 minutes to answer ten questions.
Do i receive a certificate if i pass?
Yes, each lesson provides a certificate.
The training is buffering is this normal?
As with any video based web experience there may be some buffering on slower connection speeds or with multiple users. Check whether your system buffers while playing you-tube videos that you haven’t visited before. If you experience long delays in buffering then you need to check your internet connection or consider taking the courses when you have less users on your connection.
